Puppy Potty Box

The Puppy Potty Box was developed using various prototypes in our puppy pen while raising litters to support one of the most important early lessons puppies learn: how to keep their living space clean. By clearly defining where elimination happens, puppies begin to develop clean habits from an early age—making the transition to housetraining in their new homes smoother and more intuitive for their families.

This design represents a refined version of our original prototype, shaped by hands-on use, careful observation, and what has consistently worked best across multiple litters.

Designed with Purpose

• Dimensions: 36” long x 24” wide x 4” high

• Uniform side height on all four sides helps contain substrate and reduces spill-over during normal puppy use.

• Sufficient depth for 2–3 inches of substrate, with additional clearance at the top to help prevent litter from being kicked out of the box.

• No handles, seams, or openings that invite substrate escape—resulting in noticeably less mess outside the box during daily use.

Since transitioning to this version, we’ve experienced minimal litter fallout beyond the Puppy Potty Box, even with active, curious puppies.

Built to Support Learning—Not Just Containment

Early in training, multiple Puppy Potty Boxes can be placed together to create a larger, clearly defined potty area. As puppies become more consistent, the boxes can be separated and spread out, encouraging puppies to seek out designated potty locations independently while also giving them more space to explore, play, and engage in age-appropriate enrichment activities.

This gradual shift supports learning through choice and movement, rather than confinement—an approach we prioritize throughout our puppy-raising program.

Safe, Practical, and Easy to Maintain

The Puppy Potty Box is constructed from durable HDPE, a non-porous material that is impermeable to liquids and resistant to chemicals. This creates a hygienic surface that does not absorb moisture or odors and can be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized as an important biosecurity measure. The smooth, sealed construction also makes it a safe surface for puppies—should they lick or mouth the box, the material will not degrade or leach substances.
